The Predator
Shadowstep, wall access, and stealth conversions. This is the build for players who want to arrive unseen, break the line, and leave panic behind them.
Vampirism
The night tree is about route theft, stealth pressure, feeding risk, and the kind of mobility that lets Coen stop fighting on other people's terms.
Playstyles
These are the cleanest ways to think about Vampirism before launch, based on the systems Rebel Wolves has actually shown.
Shadowstep, wall access, and stealth conversions. This is the build for players who want to arrive unseen, break the line, and leave panic behind them.
Selective night investment that solves traversal and spacing problems without fully surrendering the run to corruption pressure or feeding habits.
Heavy feeding, aggressive sustain, and a willingness to let hunger shape the campaign. Strong, but only if you accept the fallout.

Build Advice
If you want a night-first run, stop pretending corruption is a late problem. It starts the moment you choose tools that make feeding, pursuit, and vertical infiltration feel natural. My first unlock would be Shadowstep because it fixes the most common cause of bad night play: staying on the obvious line too long. After that, take Wall-Walk if your priority is access, or Feeding & Corruption if your priority is sustain and you already accept the identity cost.
I would not rush the wolf-form route first unless you specifically want a stealth-assassin run. It is seductive, but stealth kills are only as strong as the routes that support them. A sloppy Night-Coen with flashy assassination tools is still sloppy. A disciplined Night-Coen with Shadowstep and route control can solve whole spaces before the first bite happens. That is why the most practical opening order is mobility, then access, then sustain, then assassination flavor. Read that against the shared-point warning in the tree guide and you will avoid most first-run mistakes.
