Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Dawnwalker Wiki currently collects, what may be added after launch, and how to request access or deletion if that changes.

Cookies

The Dawnwalker Wiki does not currently use an account system, comment system, or member dashboard, so it does not need a heavy cookie footprint to function. Basic technical cookies may still be set by hosting infrastructure when required for security, caching, or page delivery. If optional features are added later, this page will be updated before non-essential cookies are used. You should not expect hidden personalization trackers here.

Third-Party Ads

Third-party advertising may be added after launch, including partners such as Adsterra or a similar ad network. If that happens, ad providers may use their own cookies, device identifiers, or reporting tools subject to their policies and consent requirements. This page will be updated with partner names and opt-out guidance before ad units go live. Until then, treat any ad-related language here as a post-launch notice rather than an active data-sharing program.

Analytics

The site currently runs with no analytics platform enabled. That means The Dawnwalker Wiki is not using Plausible, Google Analytics, or similar visitor-tracking software at this time. Server-side logs generated by hosting providers may still exist for security and uptime purposes, but they are not being used to build reader profiles or behavioral marketing segments. If privacy- friendly analytics are introduced later, this policy will be revised first.

GDPR Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comparable rights, you may request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, or data portability where applicable. Because the site currently collects very little directly from readers, many requests may result in a confirmation that no active profile data is being stored. Requests can still be submitted and will be reviewed in good faith.

CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, you may request notice of categories of personal information collected, access to specific personal information, deletion of eligible information, and equal service for exercising your rights. The site does not currently sell personal information as that term is commonly used in the CCPA context. If advertising or analytics practices change after launch, this page will be updated to reflect any new rights workflow or opt-out mechanism that becomes relevant.

Data Requests And Contact

Send privacy or data-rights requests to [email protected]. Include enough detail to identify the request and the jurisdiction you are invoking if you want a rights-based response. If DMCA or trademark issues are involved instead, use the contact details on the disclaimer page.
